Hey guys, I'm getting ready to order a new heater, but got to wondering about whether or not I should be concerned about titanium heaters getting hotter than glass ones. I currently have a glass heater and I have it strapped into the heater holder that's built into my sump. Will the new titanium one that I'm ordering be safe to place there, or will it get too hot for the acrylic heater holder?

I have had both, my titanium do feel hotter.
I wouldn’t worry about it though.
