DO YOU “PAIR” when you purchase???

Nothing more natural and impressive than seeing my two Mandarin Dragonets swimming together…….or my two Clowns or two Redfin Fairy Wrasses.

When I make a purchase, I like to pair em up. It just seems right.

1. Are there reasons not to pair them up?

Yes. It's always a hit and miss proposition with fish. Sometimes it works and you end up with a pair that get along - other times you end up with two males, two females or just two fish that can't stand each other (not unlike real life).

with fish? i’ve only done that with my fire fish. otherwise i try not to since i’m limited in space. in other things like food i try and stock up
