I am about to receive some additional macros for my display tank and was just wondering if you all acclimate your algae at all or just dump them right in? My parameters are very standard and stable.

Yes, but I don't necessarily do it intentionally. I buy a lot of macros and I'm pretty meticulous about inspecting them for hitchhikers. So I do a few rinses with tank water and they end up sitting in a bucket of tank water for ~30 min while I'm checking them. I don't know if that actually helps them adjust to my tank but I've had a pretty good record with new macros doing well for me.

I drop mine in freshwater for a bit and rinse them off then have them sit in tank water.

I wouldn't worry about acclimating your macro, especially if is something like Cheato. Very hardy.

I would be more concerned with pest. In the pass I would dip my macro is fresh water (30mins) then tank water for observation.
