Do you ever lose a random polyp in a colony?

I'm trying to determine if there is an underlying problem. But, the colony looks healthy, is spreading and fully open. But, one polyp has closed up over a week and has started to shrink. I'm wondering if this happens from time to time or I'm about to have a bigger issue.

Keep an eye on it. But yes , it happens.

Same with sps kinda. A spot of Rtn , then nothing happens.

Keep a eye out for pest but I have plenty of zoas that will die off a little then bounce back. Have it happening right now actually.
