Do you ever reach in and pick up your Tuxedo Urchin to put him in a place in the tank where you hope it will eat more?

I keep my hands out of my tank as much as possible.

No. They go where they want to go. I wonder if anyone moves their snails around their tanks.

He's been by far my best CUC ever, don't want to injure or stress the little guy, but would be good if he'd hit ASAP a few areas where the GHA is threatening corals. I can get in there myself, but it's actually less hands in the tank to move Tux. (I don't really get the whole notion of keeping hands out of the tank but whatever, one of the best tanks I've ever seen was kept by a woman who was in there all day every day rearranging things, etc.)

In my experience the CuC won't usually take care of large algae. That's left up to the owner.

@Jekyl this guy is amazing, and will eat THICK GHA to the bone. He ate half the stuff off the back wall in his first two days. He's great.
