Do you experience seasonal algae blooms?

It seems like a lot of people have algae blooms around the same time(myself included). Do you think it has to do with pollen, ragweed, etc. that comes around that time of year. Do you think temperature plays a part?

I believe so at least in my outside experiments. I started growing green water this spring outside and did very well until really hot summer days and now it’s starting to look good again.
