I've found that some of my palys absolutely love the PE mysis I feed my shrimp. In particular, my Sunny-Ds. Anyway, just wondering if people consistently feed their palys. Also, do you notice a difference in growth and color when you do? Thanks for the feedback.

I used to feed them, but they started spreading too fast. I haven't fed them in over a year and they still multiply. I even occasionally have to throw them away or they would take over the tank.

I broadcast feed my tank and my nuclear yellow plays seem to always get a piece or two. I tjik they look way more healthy and grow much better when fed but this is only my experience with ONE type of play so Idk!

I spot feed, all of my coral once a week. Right before my water change (I do 15g change on a 75g every Sunday)

Friday night, is party time, for my coral. I spot feed with Reef Roids.
Not too much, I use a tiny bit, mixed in with tank water. Not the recommended teaspoon.

I am spot feeding mine for the time being with Reef Feast using a turkey baster.....I want them to grow and spread somemore.
Even when I don't spot feed them I see them picking stuff out of the water column, so I am certain they are getting plenty to eat

Thanks for all the feedback! I like the cyclo idea. I'll give that a shot a few times a week. Seems like it would be a good size for the palys.

Mine catch brine and mysis out if the water when I feed my fish (with a turkey baster). I do not feed them directly with the turkey baster like I do other corals. I've notice mine prefer larger meat items I feed my fish like brine, mysis, chopped shrimp. I even seen one close up on and try to eat about an inch cube piece of shrimp I was planning to feed my eel.

Mine eat frozen the fish get, and new life spectrum pellets. My captain America was a single polp for months. Then we started giving it a pellet directly 2-3x a week and its popped off 3 babies in the past 2 months. And one already size of the original. And I think color is a lot better.
