Do you guys like elegance corals ?

What are your guys thoughts on elegance corals ?

With my big green basketball sized bubble coral 90% dead due to a LPS bacterial infection i had and got over with antibiotics. I have this empty void in my tank now. The bubble will probly grow back since its entire outer rim is still alive just the whole center is gone. But itll take a year i bet to grow back. And i doubt itll be at it former glory for maybe longer.


A local store has a basketball or bigger sized elegance coral. Its only 220$ too. Is that a good price ? Thing has maybe like 8 or so heads on it all palm sized.

Been in the store for months too. Seems no one wants it.

I have a quarantine tank setup that i used for fish that i did hypo in. Im now going to use for corals. After this bacterial infection. I dont trust buying corals from anyone anymore and just dipping and placing in my tank. Im going to dip and fully treat with antibiotics before any coral gos in my tabk.

But yea please lemme know what you guys think. ?

That's a bargain!

But it's also concerning. Why the low price after being there for months? Surely someone would have snagged it by now.

But if you're going through all the precautions before putting it in your display, why not?

Well decided to get it. Here it is being dipped. Going in my 20g qt next. And a dose of snyibiotics for 4-5 days before it goes in my tabk. Not taking chances anymore.


Are these sundial snails that im seeing btw ? They look shaped like cones instead of round like sundials.. but they have a similar pattern.
