Do you guys think this is coraline?

Hey guys, I have had many shades of coraline grow over the years, but none this shade of purple. What do think, is it coraline or some other algae?

Purple, or royal blue?

If it’s purple when the whites are on, I’d say yes.

This looks like the diatoms in my tank when I run just blues, so hard to say

try peeling it off and turn it over to see if the underside is white.

Ill try to peel some off. The one thing I hate about a deep wide (36x36) tank is I get soaked every time I need to reach in towards the bottom

The hard part is that I only have access from the back. I built it into a wall without front access. It’s also 8’ long.

Well it’s not coralline, the snails stripped it clean, so it’s some kind of tasty algae.
