Do you guys use leveling mat or styro on your custom tanks?

i had a custom size tank and stand made and am not sure whether I should just place the tank right to the wood top of the stand or put a leveling mat or styro between it

Leveling mat here. I found styrofoam to settle uneven.

What is a leveling mat. Does it actually level out your tank if your stand is not level?

A little bit. It's like a foam buffer between the tank and the surface it sits on.

I don't. Its a 36w36h24length. with 3/4 in glass and no mat. Mat is supposed to distribute the weight, not really level it. It's a heavy tank
