I have a few of their power heads that really work well. I've never used one.
I looked at the UV and for cost it looks nice, but I'm wanting to ask to owners how you like it ?

Quality and how well does it clean up the water ? (maybe, parasites as well)
Which watt your is and size of tank ?
Life of bulb ?
Customer service ?

I have the Jabeo PU-55 hooked it up to a 144 1/2 moon to help with a dino problem after a friend recommended it. It is BIG but worked great, I have no regrets. Life of bulb, I have no idea. Customer service, never had to call so again, no idea.

I have an aqua uv and a jebao uv. I got the aqua first to combat dinos on my main display. It worked amazing, also made my water super clear. I decided I wanted to add one to my frag tank for the same benefits rather than move the aqua.

In comparing the two units, the aqua is much better built. The jebao also is a power compact bulb design, so the wattage is kind of deceiving. There is no doubt the aqua unit is more powerful in that it's performance has been more noticeable despite the tank being larger.

All that said, the jabeo unit does work. I would say it's pretty good considering the price. But if I were to buy a new uv right now it would probably be a vecton (despite never owning one nor having any complaints about my aqua uv unit).

I used the 55 watt on my 75g for dinos, also. It does have a huge footprint. It cleared up my dinos completely in 3 days. I left it on for a week, and 6 months later still no dinos.

I put it on my pond last week because the old uv broke (different brand). And it's starting to clear up the pond really well (pond is about 2000 gallons).

I got a PU-55 for my new tank setup (80 gallon spa growout/total volume around 150 gallons) to help clear up a dino outbreak when I first started to put corals in. It cleared the tank in one day and the water was clear as can be. The unit is decent enough for the price! Don't buy the CW series though. It is built in halves and is a thinner type plastic. I bought the 110 watt version of this for my other tank since the pu55 worked so well, but returned it as soon as I opened it up. You could put 2 of the PU versions together if need be for a larger tank. The jebao is worth it to run and see how you like a uv on your system. If it breaks or comes time to replace the bulb down the road, then you can reevaluate and decide to stick with it, but one of the better built ones, or not to run uv at all.

For $80 or less I wouldn't expect much in the way of customer service, other than if it doesn't work out of the box.

I found the CW model in the 110w, but no other model's ?

lol,...ok.
Did not know two can be connected.

My 125g only needs a 55w or two ?

A reefer's X wife near me gave up the hobby a few years ago, and gave me this Aqua UV. But, as nice as it is, it's only 8 watts, for up to 70 gallons. Looks like it has a wiper. She has no idea on the age.

Says it's a 2-3/4"
PVC-1
D2466
SCH-40
DURA

I could set it up for my QT or I'm setting up a 55g tank to cure dead dry rock and if we buy a adult size fish.

What do you guys think ?

I never use one in my QT and probably wouldn't need it to cure dry rock. You could hang on to it for the 55 when you set up as a second DT. :D

I don't like jebao products BUT I do like the UV light from them. I have had it running for the past 8 months and its working out just great!

I just got one in the mail today to hopefully help with a dino problem. I'm reading the instructions and it says it's for outdoor use only and lots of amazon reviews say it trips their GFCI because lots of them have shorts. I don't even have a GFCI in the room with my tank, which may be a problem by itself. So is this really safe to use indoors just plugged in with everything else? Should I just get something like this to plug it into at least? https://www.lowes.com/pd/Shock-Bust...ngle-to-Single-Yellow-GFCI-Adapter/1000492081

A reefer friend I know had the jebao version on his reef. The inside corroded and leached into his system. If you do go with one, make sure to check it regularly.
I’ve heard many stories of these corroding and leaving a nasty black residue on things and electrocuting the tank. I’ve heard Jebao products in general are “fine” except the UV. I have powerheads and returns on my smaller tank but I’d never trust the UV after the stories I’ve read on here.
