Do you have a UV sterilizer on your RO/DI unit ?

I'm finally getting started on my 125g in wall reef and the fish room. We've been buying our RO/DI that includes UV treatment, from a large grocery store. I have a new BRS RO/DI unit and have been thinking of adding a UV.

We live in a small town, so we have well water, but is actually pretty clean. It does seem to have quite a bit of TDS (black dots) that cling to our toilet bowel, which I plan on hooking up a whole house prefilter before the RO/DI.

Since we're on well water, should I get a UV ?

Do any of you have one on your system ?

Not necessary my friend.
If you use the right filters your RODI pulls pretty much everything out your water, if that is a well or city water it doesn't matter.

I use this RODI super smart filter

What about parasites, and bacterial diseases etc ?

Don't think they are in city water as they add chloramine to the water which you filter out with your carbon block.
Well water isn't know for that either but your DI will remove most if not all.
