Do you have cyano and use rox .8 carbon?

The theory that cyano loves organics. Since rox .8 is basically the best carbon, i want to see if users generally lack cyano using this carbon or still have it.

Cyano does not love organics.
Cyanobacteria is a huge phylum of organisms, but generally speaking, they require inorganic nutrients. Not organic nutrients. There are some cyanobacteria capable of producing enzymes that enable them to utilize organics, but this seems to only happen in desperate times, when inorganic nutrients are limited. Only a select few species seem to have this ability.

Are you 100% sure cyano isnt consuming some sort of organic or organic byproduct?

Well..... I guess you could say that inorganic nutrients are often organic byproducts.
Most of the inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus in our systems originate from the organics we feed our livestock.
Other organisms are responsible for that conversion, or break down, not cyanobacteria.

Think of cyano like a tree. A tree can utilize the nutrients in a dead fish as fertilizer, but only after other organisms have converted those organic nutrients into inorganic nutrients that are dissolved in water. The tree has no access directly to the organic nutrients within the dead fish. The fish must decompose first, or be broken down into its inorganic elements. Like nitrogen, phosphorus, iron....................
