Do you keep fish in your frag or prop tank? if so how many and how many gallons is your tank? also what type of fish do you keep?

40gl prop tank, I have a yellow eye kole for algae grazing and a 6line wrasse for any unwanted pests that might show up...i put fish that serve some kind of purpose in there, plus the fish provide a little nutrient in the system which benefits my corals.

i have a scopas tang,1 hawkfish,2 green chromis, and a ocelleris clown for the small BTA thats in there, and plenty of snails and crabs.

Im thinking of adding some to my 55. I want to add maybe a dwarf lion bc i dont want him in my main DT, but im a little worried as my hands will always be in the tank.

i had a chevron, yellow belly, picasso clownfish and yellow coris in my prop when it was set up
it was a 150ish custom. Chevron for grazing and yellow coris for pest clean up. found out that the yellow coris was only effective for ~3'
so 3' was completely clean of everything and the other 3' was covered in flatworms, wierdest thing ive ever seen
yellow belly and picasso in there for my amusement

i only have a prop tank so i have all my fish in there. lots of tang, chromis, clown and much more.

My frag tank is about 45 gallons. I have two small yellow damsels in it mainly for my amusement and some movement. I figure they probably make some contribution to food for the coral.

I only have prop systems so yes I do. I have mostly tangs so they help to eat any algae and some wrasse for parasites.

2 yellow belly hippos, a yellow scopas tang, 2 pairs of Allardi clowns, and a mated pair of sixline wrasses in my 6x2.5'. A purple tang, tomini tang, bicolor pseudochromis, peppermint hog, and checkerboard wrasse in my 3x5'. A mated pair of Seabae clowns and 3 moonlight damsels in the 2x3'. A tomini tang and onxy clown in my 40 long. And a mated pair of golden coral banded shrimp in my other 40 long. ;p

I have a yellow tang ( I know I know) and a Melanarus Wrrase in my frag tank to help keep the algae and any pests away. This is in my 24*24*12 frag tank.

So went to one of the nicer LFS in town yester day to pick up a fiji for the 180 reef. While i was there i seen a baby panther grouper for 15 bucks(he is less then an inch), so hes now in the 55 frag tank till he grows out, which then it gives me a reason to buy my 125 long for a pred tank :):)
