I have a 55 gallon in my office and know it well. We have two lights that would work well for this tank - the DM-132e and the IT2040. These are both listed on our site Reef Radiance - Home with all the information about them. The prices are there as well. These prices are the best in the industry.

HOWEVER.............................

In about 12 hours we are about to launch a Factory sale on our products on Reef 2 Reef and if you can wait that long - I promise you that you will be glad you did. We talked some of the factories that we use into discounting our shipments for a SPECIAL SALE and we cut the prices dramatically. Yeah - I will say that one of our top selling LEDs is going for $90 off MSRP! And it was not very expensive to start. And if you like the Reef Breeder Photon 16 - well just go to our site and at midnight and see what we are selling and for how much.....

Reef Breeders is an online company that sells the Evergrow IT2040 LED and renames it the Photon 16. We sell the same light from the same factory for a lot less. That is what I was talking about.

Yes you would need two of either the DM-132e or the Evergrow IT 2040.

Vinny,

The MSRP ifor the DM-132e is $229 but it will be a lot less after midnight. This is over my 55 gallon right now. You would need two of them and there are no bulbs in LED lights they are solid state and last for around 50 thousand hours or 13 plus years with 10 hours a day usage. So you dont have to replace bulbs.

So you would order 2 of the DM-132e going from the link in the Reef Radiance Forum after midnight tonight.

Well, I am sure that it is midnight somewhere - but even so all I can say it if you take MSRP and deduct $90 - you would not be too far off...............
