do you know what is causing this?

I have a bubble Magnus qq1 hang on nano-skimmer and it looks like it is spewing out little bubbles of gas. Do you guys know what is causing this?

Yes, micro bubbles. It may need to be adjusted or it's still within the breaking in period.

If its brand new it just needs to run and they will get less as time passes.

I used one of these for a couple of years. I found that every time I had i it apart for cleaning, it would spit micro bubbles around the cover for a couple days till it broke in again. Also when the sponge is dirty, or when the sponge is freshly cleaned. And the screw that holds the cover on needs to be just right, not too loose, not too tight. Either one, and bubbles will escape around the cover.

It's pretty finicky, but once you get it dialed in, it works well.
