Do you know what these are?

I have these on the glass scraper that I usually remove from the tank but left in. I'm not sure what type of critter laid these and whether or not I should remove them. I'm sure someone can identify what they are and let me know what to expect.

I'm not sure what those bubble looking things are, but those little white spiral things are Spirobid Worms (a type of feather duster worm).
Those bubble things could be snail eggs? I'm not really sure

I believe nassarius snail's eggs look like that. Do you have nassarius snails?

Yes! Trochus, Turbo, Astrea, margarita etc. That was my thought but I found photos of snail eggs that are little white dots that were not housed. These are in some sort of embryo

They do look similar but the ramshorn snail eggs appear to be separate where as mine appear to be more together within the embryo. also I have never seen a ramshorn snail in the tank.

Looked up the nassarius vibes eggs and they don't look the same and also say they should hatch in 3-5 days.. I have had these present for at least 10 days. The dove snail does look closer and possibly I doe have one in the tank. I have a 180 and have purchased many snails to help combat GHA

I would say you got it correct! The photo that I was presented with did not show the eggs looking anything like that. Amazing how the eggs were laid behind the scraper. Maybe the snail thought they would be safer. Now I would like to see how long before they hatch or even if they do. Thanks!

They hatch best in cooler water or soon become fish food but some do manage to survive

I'd guess the reason you saw different looking eggs is because different species of nassarius snails lay eggs that look different.

I should move them to my QT and then they should have a better chance to survive!
