Are all slimers the same? My slimer is definitely not that bright/green.. Usually the side w/ no light is a bit more brownish tan.

I must be the odd ball because mine doesnt grow that fast. Digis, millis and montis grow well but the slimer doesnt. hmmm:squigglemouth:

All depends on your perspective, top down corals always look the best..its where the light hits directly and the color is. Mine is tan on the underside too.

I tried to give some away today, and couldnt give it away. I took several frags over to a club members house, was going to trade some frags for homemade wine that he makes.

I left with several bottles of wine, and my green slimer frag. He took my other frags, but wouldnt take the slimer.

I had bought a nice piece of browned-out green slimer once at a frag show for $10 I think, it was almost 8" long, but that was in my 'lemme see if I can kill every type of SPS' phase of my tank.

I personally love Slimer! A nice big colony of branches behind a little garden of Rics/Zoas or other acros even looks awesome. I love seeing the pics posted online of tanks with full grow out and bam..... Right there in the back poking up is the neon green we all recognize

I would say it's actually one of the most beautiful stags you can get, which eventually led to its undoing. It was too pretty & too hardy for it to stay rare, so now the snobs (I use the term lovingly) don't want it anymore

. Personally I just don't have room for something that grows an inch a month!
