If I don't see corals looking fuzzy I feel like something is wrong with my tank. To me having PE is a sign of a happy coral.

Beauties! Inspiring! Maybe some day. I'm only a year in and got a stylophora 3 weeks ago. Really looks happy and growing. I put it about 8 inches under the intake from the sump. Good idea or no? I'm putting 4x flow on 120 total system. Thanks for any input. Have a gyre but it seems to like that constant heavy flow?

Love this guy waving around

I used to have a chips. One of my favorites. Sadly it was one of the casualties in a water quality problem

From what I hear about this coral it is a horrible shipper I was lucky I guess it was a fresh cut went into a tank I just dossed I forget what but it is still alive and cooking against all odds

If u want one back I got mine from farmer ty great guy to do business with

Fuzzy Wuzzy was not a bear it was and acropora. I like most of you love fuzzy sps. I hqve a few but not good HD pics to share. I will see if I can work on that.

I would rather my corals have good extension at night and not too much during the day. When acros have too much polyp, it’s really hard to see the nice colors underneath. A green polyped coral will just look green and if it has very nice branch color I feel like I want to see it. I know a lot of people attribute polyps with health but I have seen many tanks with not much extension and they were all superb as well. I always go back to night time, if an acro has no extension at night, that’s a sign that it’s not at 100%. I don’t worry about daytime extension much at all although some corals do look great when they are fuzzy.
