I would rate yours at a 7, love the swim space, but I would perhaps add an extra couple of rocks.![]()
Rate 1-10 and I'll rate yours if you put the pick with your name as the text thanks!
Kschweer you got 1 of scotts mag shelves - looks sweet!
I would roll about a 6-7 - like the idea and feel it will look great filled in. Only thing i would change myself is the white rock on right stucture. Looks like a tonga type shape rock? Branch? If it is i would get it sticking up into the water colum off of the left island. Gives a bit of 3 dimension look like i like.
Never thought of that, that's a good idea. I might try it out when I upgrade next! Thanks shep I'll rate yours an 8 a little tall for me and it would be nicer if in came closer to the front of the tank at the bottom and closer to the back near the top..

I wouldnt use it to build onto your existing structure blending in with it. I would use it to make another level to add to your structure coming up and off of. even if it looked out of place to begin with. The hardest thing to see when scaping (from what I have learned) is that it means nothing - you have to be able to envision an end product in the direction you want to finish. A full reef only resembles the actual structure but in no way shows any of the cool lil features we build in for the most part. That being said - who can wait 2-4 years to make a weird looking structure turn into an incredible placement of perfectly grown corals. Hence patience is a virtue and experience is something we get right after we need it
