+1 Yup! Dont get too caught up by rock scapes as most of it will be covered by coral! Just make sure the rock will be able to showcase said coral well as thats pretty much the primary purpose of aquascapes for most tanks.I think it looks really good. You don't want symmetry in my opinion; anyhow, once stuff starts growing out on it it will look really nice.
I come from a freshwater background so when first getting into reefing, I never understood the concept of aquascpaing for corals not for looks. My first scape (scraped it, thank God) was really interesting but gave no potential for coral growth. Something I needed to relearn hahaI have yet to be happy with any scape I have ever created. I think your scale will be a great base for coral growth. Hard to not get totally consumed by wanting your rock to look like the finished product.
