I put small branch pieces on the back wall

should I break the bigger pieces at the top into two and spread it out more?

personally, it’s not what I’d do but I’m not building your tank nor know your ideas. If you like it OP, go with it!

at the end of the day it’s your tank. You’re the one who will be it’s caretaker and the one to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

if you wanted my opinion of what I would add? Some branches of rock coming off the two vertical pieces. But then I’m going for a different sort of scape altogether with my build so take the above worth a grain of salt

yes I still have a bunch more rock coming to build up my actually scape but just had this idea and wanted to see what it looks like.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to break the two bigger pieces in half and add another branch on the back. I might like that better.

I don’t want it sticking out too much but I like the depth it adds.

the 3 branch rocks were just pieces I found at the LFS so just waiting on everything else to start the scape

Honestly, the good thing about having those lung-esque rocks in back is they’ve got enough holes and openings that adding shelves or branches should be pretty easy.

It appears this is a corner tank? It is interesting and unique but “flat“. I would finish off the back walls 100% then use smallish (4” to 6”) rubble rock glued randomly for that 3rd dimension, at irregular angles for your corals and some fish hiding places. Make it look like a rock climbing wall…

I think its cool. I wonder how much weight it can hold in corals before it falls in. (if) A little tall did you use plenty of glue? Maybe lower light stuff on the bottom? Where are your fish going to sleep, and hide. What's the stocking plan?
