If you live in the country (or just have a septic system instead of city sewage) and have an AWC system setup, what do you do with your waste water? Do you pump it into your septic system? Pump it to a remote area of your "yard"? Pump it into buckets and manually dump it?

I have it go out the window where it then just goes down the drain that runs along my house. way easier that way.

it goes into a rodi wastewater storage pond which then is released into a creek after it is diluted with rainwater. my whole property and horse facility is run off of rodi water with 0 tds out of the ro and then is given a water softener. it is great as I have an instant and for my purposes limitless supply of ro water right next to my reef tank. off course this is probably no help as a doubt you have an industrial water treatment facility. so long as you don't add medication to your water though you should be okay draining it out to a nearby creek just make sure to check local laws and regulation. if you are in the us id contact the us department of fish and wildlife as often times they will be familiar with laws related to the release of non-freshwater fluids into your local watershed.

Thanks for the info. I live in the plains of Colorado. So no words or creeks to pump it into. We do have a high ground water table, so my sump pump runs many times a day. Right now that pumps to about 6 feet from my house in a French drain style setup that I made. I'm thinking about extending that out 20-30 feet into the middle of the dirt drive way in front of my shop. Then I could plumb my waste water into that line post sump pump. There by saving the sump pump from saltwater and dumping the salt someplace I don't care if grass grows.

My water from my AWC goes into an implemtation container (250g). When full, I then take the water and use it to spray my fence line. Works great to keep it clear. Haven’t had a cedar tree pop up and tangle my fence up in 2 years lol. My goats really like the salt from time to time as well lol.

Yes, but I live on several acres and simply have it run quite away down the hill from the house and off a cliff and on what is essentially a huge rock outcropping/pile.
