You'd be forgiven for assuming that my name is Kathy and my mental state is questionable, but that's not at all what my user name is about. For the past 15 yrs., I have volunteered at an animal rescue as the director of cat adoptions. The first time I rescued an orphaned litter of kittens, screaming for their mother who had been hit by a car, my heart was broken. I've loved, nurtured, bottle-fed, and litter-trained more kittens in 15 years than I can count. They were all spayed/neutered and vaccinated before going to loving homes. So it's safe to say that I am definitely crazy for cats.

I'm a big Tolkien fan and I came very close to registering my screen name in Quenya: "Lingwilócë" (“Fish-Dragon”) / Túralingwilócë ("Great Fish-Dragon"), but I can't vouch for the name being 'grammatically correct.' Sometimes, I wish I'd have used it lol.

Glad I am not the only cat crazy one. My 6 month old rescue in the pix is. We lost our 17 year old rescue about a year ago.

So why is my name mastiffsrule? They do. My mastiffs passed away a few years ago. She was 140 and ran the household. She slept right next to me (wife buffer) and followed our daughter everywhere to keep an eye on her. If you were not invited in, you were not coming in. It was all up to her
