Do you name your fish or corals?

As a general rule we try not to name them but they all eventually do. The monster of a huge cleaner shrimp we have that eats Aiptasia and chases fish to the point of exhausting them, and now lives in the sump. His name is Razor. Can you guess why? Hahaha

I name some of mine, and some I try to name and it just doesn’t stick. Like a long time ago I named my clowns Elphaba and Fiyero, but I never got into calling them that. Over the years I’ve had several urchins, and they are all named Gossamer. My pajama cardinals are all PJ’s. I have an emerald crab named Emily. It seems like some names stick better than others.

The deal is my daughter names the fish and I name the invertebrates. That’s why we have names like “avacado” and “blue“ for the fish and the shrimp is named “Frank” in her freshwater tank.

Was wondering, do you name your fish or corals? If so, what are some cool names and why did you choose it?
I have a Midas Blenny who's name is Shakira because she shakes her hips when she swims!

I’m editing this to add I say satan because I’ve never had one that didn’t eventually turn itself into a problem child! Hahaha

Well, that made me laugh. He/she has actually been quite good so far! Yes, I figured that had been problematic for you. Actually, I already returned two and swapped them out so I know what you mean. This one was a tiny one when he came home and I am keeping my fingers crossed.
