Yes, if my fish live past the first 2 weeks, they get a name. I have in the DT:
Tommy, the tomini tang
Ozzie, the ocellaris clownfish
PJ, the pajama cardinalfish
Angelica, the Coral Beauty dwarf angelfish
Monarch, the Royal Gramma
Barney, the Barnacle blenny
Jet, the green Citrin goby
Guardian, the yellow watchman goby
In the sump/refugium:
Perky, a re-homed geriatric percula clownfish
Rice Krispies, a pistol shrimp
Tommy, the tomini tang

I always plan to start especially with my fish with too long names.
But at the moment it’s just Prickly and Scary (as in scar not scary) my engineer gobies. Here’s prickly with his best pal who needs a name.

Not usually, but have a few that earned their names.
Wrassehole (Red Coris Wrasse)
Jaws (an exceptionally mean clownfish)
Lennie (lunare Wrasse). It's a reference from Of mice and men cause this guy's is very large and generally peaceful but if he gets excited he can just destroy the tank with his strength)
