Do you polish T5 reflector?

Salt buildup and evaporation can cloud or haze over the reflector over time. When changing bulbs do you guys ever break out the cordless drill and buff out the reflector to get maximum shine, or do you just wipe yours down with a rag?
 
I just wipe it down a little
 
I'e been trying to reseach The same question I actually found some people that use stainless steel cleaner not sure how safe it is if your light is too close to the water but my lights about 12" from the water and I'm going to give it a try when I swap my bulbs out this weekend I also read that there's not much of a difference between new reflectors and old reflectors as far as par is concerned
