Simple: do you qt your coral?

No but I'm going to start. I've religiously scrubbed, dipped and inspected ever coral that went into my DT but still got vermetid snails, bryopsis, and glass anemones. Not the end of the world but i'd rather not have them so I'm going to start a coral QT to protect a new system I'm building. Bryopsis even with fluconazole treatments has been a real pain so that sure would be nice to prevent with a QT.

Same, I just dip. I’m also gonna start a qt for my frags. Just need to find a good deal on a light

I have never quarantined any corals, or fish for that matter.

But much depends on your suppliers and if you trust them etc. I’m in the UK so things are maybe a little different over here.

There is nothing wrong with doing full, quarantine, it’s probably the way to go.

I am setting up a new system (my build thread is here). I am going to have a 10g frag tank plumbed into the system with a sufficient UV sterilizer on the drain out from the frag tank to be able to "QT" corals in the frag tank without letting any nastiness into the rest of the system.

I never quarantine anything except if I add a manta ray. I may quarantine that.
