Do you recommend calibration of your Ecotech return pump?

Wondering how many people have calibrated their Ecotech return pumps? I have an Ecotech Vectra M2 on a Red Sea Reefer 425 XL. I keep the pump at a constant 50% to keep the sump water level and return drain quiet.

Curious if there are any advantages to the calibration? Also, if I do calibrate, is there a way to keep the sump level consistent and the return drain quiet?

I didn't, just one less thing to figure out if I replace it one day if it fails. This way the next stock version can set right back to 60%.

I did..wish I didn't. Just needed to recalibrate it myself. I'm at 52% currently after calibration. No positives or negativesthat I can figure out.

I don’t know what I was thinking and I hit calibrate. It is sooo confusing after step #2. Now I regret it.

how can I reset it to factory setting??

• Hold Mode & Set till dial flashes red, white, and blue
• Hold Mode till dial flashes red & purple
• Hold Mode & Power till power resets
