I remember hiring a trucking company to bring 4 pallets of Southdown sand to S. Calif. as it was not sold west of the Mississippi. I sold it for cost and met lots of reefers. Loaded up my Suburban so it sagged and took a load to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for a reefing convention and met more reefers, one even drove down from Canada for the parking lot exchange.

Yes I do. The 180 gallon is in my hallway and the built-in wall 225 gallon tank is currently empty as it has a leak and I need to have it rebuilt or replaced. It was one of the first glass front Starfire with acrylic back and sides that was custom manufactured and it only lasted about 15 years.

I sold that swim through tube tank and replaced it with the 180 gallon. You have quite the memory! You can PM me your name if you want. Nice to see some of the old timers still around.
