I'd like to see how many use refugiums vs not using them. Of course pictures of your sumps are welcomed!

For those who are not running a refugium, please share what you do for nutrient export.

Like Broadfield, biopellets, GFO and purigen reactor. Crystal clear and healthy; typically maintains an ORP of 325-375 on its' own.
 
I don't have a fuge per say but I do have a ball of chaeto in the rear compartment of my solana. Its enough nutrient export to be able to run skimmerless and my corals, including sps, are happy and have great color. The upgrade will definitely have a large fuge in the system. I prefer it to running media and I think it does a better job.

I have a fuge. A large ball of chaeto (not quite basketball size), and a handful of dragon's breath. Some small pieces of LR rubble and about 3-4" deep sand bed.

I want to add some CUC there, but there's a gap on one of the chamber walls that I am trying to figure out how to cover- I don't want the snails going into the chamber with the skimmer.

eggcrate or sponge filter my dude, you can also use the sewing mesh that people make algae scrubbers out of

I did run ats but carbon dosing lowered my nutrients to the point where the ats did not grow hardly at all and my cheato died off due to ats and carbon dosing. So I just have some lumps of lr and detritus that seems to feed the pods in there still. I'm doing a good job of growing cyano in the dt though :)
 
I also do not run a fuge. I use 3 reactors: biopellets, carbon, and gfo. Sorry no pics on me at the moment.
