Do You Smell Your Skimmate?

This question is akin to cutting the cheese and testing the waters. Do you smell your skimmate before you dump it just to see how rank it is?

I hold my breath until that stuff is far down the drain and rinsed by a lot of water. Carbon dosing makes some rank skimmate.

Got a good whiff of it on Saturday - when I spilled my collection cup of vile swill on the tile floor on the way out the door. The wife was thrilled. I had fun cleaning it up too! ;Yuck

lately, yes. It's only because it smells sweet. I don't know if there is something wrong with my skimmer. It didn't always smell this way.
