I had a larger White Stripe Maroon Clown in my tank for about a month and wanted a Gold Stripe Maroon with it. I ordered the Gold Stripe from my LFS where I bought the White Stripe. A week ago I added the little Gold Stripe and for the first 2 days I was worried because the White Stripe was chasing and beating the little guy up. This is them now (see pics) I think I am lucky that I got them to pair so quick and easy. What do you guys think?

Yes your lucky. It’s very hard to pair maroons. If there is no anemone for them to host yet then hold off. Once you introduce that they will squabble and fight again. The female is very territorial.

I have no plans on adding anemone to the tank any time soon, if ever. I think I am very lucky because yes I have read that it is very hard to pair them. I think the good thing was they are both captive bred Maroons so that might have helped. Thanks for the input on a anemone.
