is the foot attached? The gaping and color don't look so good to me, but if opened and attached this seems like good sign to me and may recover.

I hope he pulls through for you!

Moved to the current forum.

Can you tell us a little bit about your setup? Lights, tank size and water parameters? How long have you had the anemone?

My main tank is 100g with LED light(2*100W) but meanwhile one lighting change to 300W Kessil.
Have protein simmer and bioreactor with sock filter sump tank. It has been 4months.

After its almost dead I asked worker of Petstore that and he said I better threw it away. So I did separate it from main tank to hospital tank.

My hospital tank is 4g nano. One piece of live rock and two peppermint shrimp and one sea urchin put together.

Yes it attached on sand but every day move little bit.
And I saw several times the shrimps look like a dancing on the anemone. I feel the anemone doesn't like shrimps on his body.

I bought this anemone 3weeks ago.
Three or four days its looks so happy in my tank but suddenly its getting sick.
Its loosing green tip arms or legs to totally single body only.
Now I can say its recover little bit because the leg coming out of from body. But still no green tip.

Is that the same anemone? The first one appears to be an M. doreensis, whereas in the second group of pictures it looks more like an E. quadricolor.

If it is the same, it is taking a turn for the worse -- the loss of tentacles would indicate that it is consuming itself for energy/food.

What are your current water parameters -- including salinity/SG.

I would remove the peppermint shrimps, they can/will go after weak anemones.

+1. That's the way one of mine looked right before it died :(

I'm thinking the 4g nano does not have sufficient lighting to keep this nem alive after reading Trex's post...
