So I was wondering if I get my clownfish a friend will I he stop being stressed faster and is he stressed here's a video

If it's in that 7gal tank you keep posting about, no.

I think you've done enough harm by adding a clownfish to a barely cycled tank with no live rock.

You do not want to kill two fish with one stone in this case (or no rock in this case)

First 2 weeks is not barely cycled and I added a Booster and I'm getting live rock

2 weeks IS barely cycled, especially since there was no live rock for the bacteria to grow on.

Not sure why you are asking questions here if you are so adamant you are right about everything in this hobby?

Not seeing anything.

If you do add one, make sure it’s no more than 1/2” so you know it’s for sure it’s a male.

All new entries will be stressed out, the water volume is a bit small.

Clowns do well as singles and pairs.

Two females will fight, with a loser.

its been explained to you that your tank is too small for even one clown, and its not yet ready for fish life, it will be cruel and irresponsible to add another fish to that tank.

I think the best course of action is to take your clown to the LFS. Get your tank properly cycled, then re visit. I do agree that 7 is way to small for a clown, let alone two. One single clown would probably be okay for a year MAX before outgrowing the tank. The reason he is stressed is because the tank isnt ready for him. From your comments about cycling I believe you probably kept freshwater fish and are basing your knowledge from there. Ive kept freshwater all my life until getting into salt water. This isnt like freshwater where you use tap water, conditioner and have a tank ready for a gold fish in two weeks. Saltwater is a whole other beast. I suggest you really really research this stuff. People on here are not trying to be butt holes, they care about seeing you succeed in the hobby AND MOST IMPORTANTLY seeing animals treated right. The best thing for your clownfish is for you to take him back to your fish store.
