Do you think this Duncan could use more light

I have this Duncan and would like to move him up to rock behind him. So 3” up 3 “ back.

And move this acan to where the Duncan is
Everyone seems happy now . Duncan has some new polyps about to emerge. But they will be in the shade and crowded by rock.

Acan has at least one baby lobe on side.

Looks good and has babies sprouting. I'd probably leave it. I normally only move things if they look unhappy.

Well babies sprout buds were there when I bought it so can’t take cred for that. Though they are progressing. I moved up. Angry at me now. We shall see. If not happy in a day or 2 I’ll move back. Figured I move one at a time so Duncan first.

turn down the lights so he can adjust it might be too harsh, duncans like low-medium light.

Thanks, I just turned down a smidge well see. was already at 25% white and 40-45% blue. 14” under water and lights 8” above water.

I have my Duncan’s on the sandbed and they are growing like crazy. They went from 4 single head frags to probably a dozen heads in 8-9 months. Relatively low light and medium flow.

Turned down about 10% showing par at 175

Right now with light down it’s old spot measures 140-150 so not a big jump we will see hopefully I can’t do yo much harm in a day.

Duncans are amazing cause of how their polyps change depending on water conditions! Mine is always big and bubbly like an anemone haha

I have Duncan’s in 300 par and 100 par, they don’t seems to care, but are a bit unhappy during the change period.
