Same goes for fish .
my wife was on a website looking at fish . Bought a orange shoulder tang that looked amazing and adult
we got it home as it is only curb side pickup here .
It still has juvi colours , beat up , missing chunks of its tail ,
After contacting them they said it’s a generic picture but they don’t even have one that nice in their store .

either drive 1 hour to return it or keep it

I buy from this vendor online all the time, this is the first time this has happened. Very disappointed.

No. Not leds are even the same.. they have different layouts and a million settings. Different diods and so on.

My corals look way more vibrant under some types of LEDs vs others. Way better under a nano box than a Chinese led for example. That is no ones fault.

Okay that makes me feel a bit better but its just weird because I've bought from here numerous times and never had this issue, colors were usually spot on.

I'm at a point where I don't want to pay more than $50 online for a coral, regardless of the hype or colors shown. Even then, it would have to be something I'd REALLY want. If I see a nice coral in person under similar lighting to mine, I'd be willing to pay more. I don't trust the pictures online whatsoever. There are too many filters or photoshopped pictures that skew what the coral looks like in person. I wouldn't be upset with what you got, but I would be more upset with the price you paid for it. That's an awesome looking coral.

That would be about what I expect from a coral if I ordered online. It’s just a filter and a top down shot. Looks about the same to me

Nothing wrong with it, just using a high quality led such as radions and using a high quality DSLR Camera. Some corals photograph better then others.

Well my eyes do not function like a DSLR camera so I won't be spending as much as I did on a coral ever again lol.
