Do you think you can have to many snails

I was just wondering if you think you can have to many snails . I have about 7 different types of snails in my 175 community tank

Welcome to R2R!!! Different types of snails isn't really an issue, its the amount of snails. I always recommend 1 type of snail per 10 gals. I usually keep 3, but will have a 4th in my upgrade tank.

Only limited by food: either grown in your tank or if you feed them directly.

I have 50 in a 20 gallon right now. 35 trochus and 15 Mexican turbos. I have to feed them sometimes.

no limit on snails till they start dying, then pull them out asap. Juicy specimens can be nutrient bombs.

Just get a banana wrasse and it’ll lower your population
