Let's see how many of us use a ground probe or GFCI outlet.

As for me, every piece of equipment I use is plugged into a GFCI outlet.

Everything except the return pump for me. It's never tripped but if it were and I wasn't home the return pump will keep everything alive until I return.

That's nice, do you run it on back up battery?
I have my vortechs backed up, not sure how the battery will do on the M1 though.

GFCI, two separate circuits. I split essential equipment between the two so that if one trips the other will keep the system alive until resolved. Had a situation were one GFCI circuit was tripped during a power outage/lighting storm so those items did not come back on when the power did. Could have killed my whole system easily if not for my foresight and split the return and powerheads. Also a battery backup system.

Everything on gfci and a ground probe in the fuge.

If not using gfci, it's only a matter of time that you will get zapped and in addition, your livestock will suffer.

No I really should though. I do have a 7500 watt generators that primary reason for existence is to power my tanks but I have to hook it up.

I remember when Hydor first released the koralla. This was before I had my tank on a gfci 90% or more of them leaked electricity. All my snails stopped moving but didn't die right away. I couldn't figure out why until I put my hand in the water with a cut. I exchanged them several times then they'd leak again. To be fair they fixed this problem many years ago but anything could end up leaking eventually.

I don't buy Hydor for that exact reason, after getting shocked 3 times I was done with that brand. I was using their pumps mainly for mixing salt.

Separate circuits on GFCI's and using a grounding probe here.

Separate GFI circuits. I've been thinking of getting grounding probes also.
