Do You Use a Magnifying Glass for New Corals?

I am putting an order in for equipment that I will use for inspection of new corals. I currently have a fragging kit, superglue, frag plugs, CoralRx, and a Dremel. I am wondering if I should get a magnifying glass so that I can inspect the corals much closer before entering the display. Since this will be an SPS-only frag system, I want to do my best to eliminate the threat of AEFW entering the system. Since they are difficult to see, I am hoping that a magnifying glass will give me an advantage that I wouldn't have otherwise.

Do you use a magnifying glass on new arrivals? If so, do you recommend a specific one?

The oft scoffed at jewelers glasses. Like goggles stay on your head has incredible magnification.

I thought about trying those out, actually. It would give me a great bit of freedom with my hands for inspection. Thanks for the recommendation!

+1 for jewelers glasses, love em. I use the magnifying glass though for stuff in the tank.

That looks nice! How is the 2x magnification? Does it seem to be enough? The glasses that I ordered magnifies within a range of 1.9x-8.3x. I'm hoping that the hight magnification levels will help me see the minute pests that may come in on corals.
