Do you wash your ato bucket (kalk)?

Do you wash it? I mix about 5 tsp in a 5g ato bucket but I have never wash it and the bottom is caked with kalk. its been almost two years and last time Poured 5g of rodi straight into the bucket so it kicked up everything. So now my alk rise up to 9.2 from usually 8.5.

I usually hook the ato bucket with the rodi tubing so it usually doesn’t kick up too much of the kalk that settles on the bottom.

I dump my bucket every three or four months. Always a lot of solids by then that I don't want to pump into my tank.

I read a BRS article that said clean bucket after every 2 to 3 times after using kawlk.otherwise you can't count on level of supplement adage.
