Whenever I feed my hammer and frogspawn, they let loose a lot of slime that blows around the tank. Is this normal, is it harmful to the other corals?

I spot feed reef chili and reef roids. Maybe I shouldn't feed them at all and let them catch whatever is floating around? They are very healthy and seem to grow weekly.

Mine do it every time, never bothered anything in my tank

Mine do it if I turn the circulation pumps back on relatively quick. If they have a half hour or more to eat the food they don't seem to slime much. If you look close the slime has all the food trapped in it

My frogspawn and octospawn do that... not too sure if I should keep feeding with reef roids or not. I have heard it may be easier to feed with mysis shrimp and other meaty foods. Hope this helps!
