Do Zoanthids and Palys crossbreed?

I’ve got a Zoa garden and on some of the new polyps of different kinds next to each other look like they are slightly different colors.

do these guys somewhat breed with one another?

Not like that, no. Some corals can "graft" but a Zoanthid likely won't. Hybridization is possible with sexual reproduction but not when they're next to each other. I've found polyps in colonies with varying colors many times.

As zoas and palys multiply, they may start to vary from the original color morph.
This appears to depend on lighting and probably other factors.
