Hello,
I never tried to have zoas before because I heard they can be poisonous. But I think I’ll give them a try.

I don’t want them to take over the tank and I would put them on an island.

Now once they are on an island will they stop growing once the rock is full?

Will they grow over a different zoa?
Will they grow on the sand bed?

They will stop when they hit sand.
Different types will but up to each other.

Some will grow on the sand bed but makes it easy to cut back I wear gloves anytime I handle any coral

Do you have some names of the ones that will stop growing? Thanks

I came home from vacation one time and a zoanthid was in the kitchen making a mysis sandwich with HBO playing on the TV in the living room.

I caught him by surprise....

So... beware, they're sneaky

None of mine have stopped I just frag them and give to other reefers and friends that don't have them share the wealth. Nirvana's grow like weeds just like Gsp
