Hi everyone,

I’m just getting into corals and I got this small Scrambled Eggs zoa frag from my lfs. When I look up scrabbled egg zoas online, they have blue in them, but mine don’t. So I was wondering if Zoas will change color once they get bigger/more established? Or does this morph just look like this. Attached is a picture. Thanks!

Only depending on your LED settings. Or when it dies and turns grey/black.
A lot of times zoas will be sold as a certain type, but I've found that this can vary quite a bit from seller to seller.

The mouth is light blue is it not? They look normal imo, only difference is the light they’re under probably

Yeah. A lot of zoas look very different in white light than they do in blue light.

I think I have some pics of my Scrambled Eggs in both.

I gotcha. Thanks!

Maybe? It looks grey to me, but might be the lighting as you mentioned. I’ll adjust the setting and see. Thanks
