Do zooanthids ever exchange colors with each other?

Hi everyone. I have several different colors of zoas in my 12g nano. I've noticed some of them seem to pick up some color from the others. Does this happen?

Good example is Two faced palys,the hybred doesn't carry on the trait with It's offspring.There's some shenanigans going on after lights out!I'm calling Maury:bigsmile:

Somone on here had a purple and nuclear death palys that morphed half and half. I saw it at my LFS too. Id say they have to be pretty closely related to start, IE a paly probably wont morph with a zoa, but Iv seen a couple instances where it has happened.

Kinda wondering the same thing, I had some Maui Wowie's right next to my Pink Zippers and the Wowie's speckles in the center started turning pink on one side of my colony... Strange...
