I ran a co2 scrubber about 3 months, then drilled a hole to access outside air.
Did you drill right through the wall and run a line? Does it actually help if there’s only one person in the room?I ran a co2 scrubber about 3 months, then drilled a hole to access outside air.
The media does its job, reducing co2, increasing ph. But it depletes too rapidly for me, got tired of refilling media. There's enough other stuff to do in this hobby, when I can go outside with a line for a simpler fix.
I have an air quality monitor. Windows closed, co2 = 1500ppm, if 3 people over 2000, which is as high as it goes, RED. Open a window, after 45 minutes. Down to 600, GREEN.Did you drill right through the wall and run a line? Does it actually help if there’s only one person in the room?
I have a air filter coming tomorrow so I may not need one then?I have an air quality monitor. Windows closed, co2 = 1500ppm, if 3 people over 2000, which is as high as it goes, RED. Open a window, after 45 minutes. Down to 600, GREEN.
I went thru the floor, behind the aquarium. 1/2" pvc thru the floor and outside to reduce air resistance. Covered the outside end with foam plug and screen.
thru a wall would work too.
Find somewhere close and unobtrusive, maybe like under a windowsill, or along the floor.
An air filter does not remove co2. I understood that was your goal to lower ph.I have a air filter coming tomorrow so I may not need one then?
I’m not really sure what I’m trying to do tbh I just didn’t know if that helpedAn air filter does not remove co2. I understood that was your goal to lower ph.
