I have an rodi unit and the easy was to hook it up is off my hose spout but the fitting is made of copper. And all the pipe is copper in my apt so my qestion is will the rodi unit going to filter out the copper pipe metal, (if it is releasing anything at all)????

Im not sure if what I am asking os making any sence or not but any advice will help

Thank you

Yes the rodi will pull out everything as long as your filters are good.just make sure your adding 0 tds water to your system.do you have a tds meter?

I do have a tds pen thank you

It's going or be so nice to make my own water again instead of having to buy it

Oh yes it's a great feeling after buying water for so long lol.And your welcome

Yup I spend over $10 on water today loaded and unloaded 9 5gallon jugs and then mixed in my trash cans...
Just to do a water change that took 10mins
Driving loading u loading filling cans ext took close to an hour...

Haha ya it's insane.i bought water for nearly 2 years before I finally bought my rodi unit lol wasted so much money man

I hope to upgrade my rodi unit one day to the brs 300 gallon per day one.
That thing is a beast! But that's a long day away and I still need to reset up my 300gallon and filter room....

A long time away and a big dream lol

Haha ya that would be nice.i got a refurbished spectapure 90gpd.there refurbished units are basically brand new

The carbon block which is a prefilter to the RO membrane removes the bulk of the copper with the membrane and DI resin removing the remainder which is miniscule at that point.

Spectrpure is by far the best in the business without question, I wouldn't even consider anything else myself.

The sediment filter removes the large particles of rust and the membrane removes the iron down to the ion level giving you pure water.
