Hello all!
I just recently dosed my DT with some prazipro. I saw that you need to remove carbon and turn off skimming for at least 24 hours.. but then I’ve read it’s okay to leave your skimmer running, just to take off the collection cup.
So my question is, does having the skimmer on affect the meds? I’ve left my cup off and let the skimmer run, I’ve seen some great progress with the flashing my fish were doing but its still not 100% gone. Should it be completely off while treating?
I’ve also seen that this stuff kills any worms in the tank but I still see my worms in the LV coming out during feeding.. any help is appreciated! Thanks guys

I think so, when I’ve turned it in I get a lot of foam in the sump, can’t help but think it was extracted out of the water, and is no longer in solution

Your skimmer will overflow if you leave the cup on while using prazi. Since prazi affects the oxygenation of the tank it's ideal to leave the skimmer running with the cup off for additional aeration.
