Does anyone buy their fish online?

Hello!
Wondering if anyone here has every bought any saltwater fish online? I’m a little nervous to do so, but every fish I buy from my LFS dies. Does okay for about 1-2 weeks and then just dies randomly. Not sure why, all of my fish I have previously are doing great. They seem unaffected by anything so I do not think it’s anything contagious that these fish are bringing. My water tests come back perfect. Even had my LFS test just to be sure they do not see any reason for their fish to not survive. It’s sucks because I really do love my LFS & there is no other stores close to me where I could test my theory, so I’m wondering about ordering online. Any advice ? Anyone have experience with it?

Do you QT your fish prior to introducing to your tank? If not, you should.

After my previous fish had passed I set up a QT tank. Put some damsels in it they (still) are alive- they came from petco, have had them in about 9 weeks now. the last fish I did place in QT tank lived for 1 week and a couple days.
Very frustrating :/

Are you observing for illness and pre treating ? Petco is notorious for unhealthy fish

I bought the damsels for the QT tank from there since cheap... they have been in there for weeks look perfect.
the fish I placed in QT tank was a clown trigger from my LFS. That passed away sadly. (As well as any other fish I have tried as well)...

I do not buy fish online. I have before but I don't have them in my tank anymore. I like to see the fish in person to make sure they are healthy. Gotta make sure the fish are eating in person. Especially when getting fish that are harder to get to eat frozen food.

All but one of my fish have come from online. Liveaquaria has been my go to. Great experience everytime

I have bought several orders from live aquaria before. Fish generally come in healthy from there.

What type of filter/powerhead? Heater? PVC? Water changes?

Live Aquaria's Divers Den is who i've bought from online. Pricier, but very nice fish and really good warranty. Never had an issue with them replacing DOAs.

I've bought many online Live Aquaria, Vivid Aquariums, Saltwater fish .com and have had really good luck. I've had a few that didn't survive but most vendors will offer a credit if you provide a pic in the time frame set by vendor.
